Celebration cakes

If you know me, you know I only make cakes by special request. That being said, we all need something to celebrate these days. Get some cake and celebrate whatever you want.

  • Cardamom Apple Cake - $37:. Floral cardamom along with a hint of ginger, turmeric, and pepper for spice keep the sweetness of this cake balanced. Loads of shredded, local apples get added to the mix, keeping the interior of this cake sweet and moist. Topped with peaks vanilla buttercream.

  • Pumpkin Kombucha Cake (V) - $32: A pumpkin space cake that gets its rise from a surprising ingredient: kombucha. A dense crumb, full of organic pumpkin, sweetened with coconut sugar and molasses and a hint of spice. Drizzled with a cinnamon-ginger glaze.

  • Tahini Spice Cake (DF) - $34: A cake that is perfect for cold mornings and wooly socks. Sweetened with maple syrup and organic cane sugar and punched up with oodles of cinnamon, ginger, allspice, cloves, cardamom, turmeric and pepper. A dense, moist cake thanks to tahini and olive oil, but a crunchy top thanks to raw sugar and sesame seeds.

Cookie boxes-$60

Two cookie boxes: one vegan and gluten-free, one gluten-free. Both delish. 14 cookies in each box (a dozen plus two for luck).

Vegan box

No butter? No eggs? No problem. This cookie box is full of plant-based cookies that will hit the seasonal-sweet spot whether you are hosting a party, treating the office, or just giving yourself a treat.

  • Molasses spice cookies

Gluten-free box

Who needs gluten? I don’t. These cookies are made with blends of wholegrain, gluten-free flours, never any gums. Each box contains some twists on favorites and classics for all your cold-weather cravings.

  • Orange chocolate chunk

  • Snickerdoodles

  • Oatmeal date pecan

Taste-tester box $25

Just as it sounds. Taste new creations along with some old favorites in this smaller box. All items are gluten-free. You could get some slices of cake, maybe a couple of cookies, and one other type of treat. Let’s call it baker’s choice.
